Conducting a SWOT
analysis of our self is a lot more important than it sounds. It won’t take much
time, and doing it forces you to think about our courier in a whole new way.
The point of a SWOT analysis is to help development for a
strong industry strategy by making sure we have considered all of our strengths
and weaknesses, as well as the opportunities and threats it faces in the future
industry.
S.W.O.T. is an acronym that stands for Strengths,
Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. A SWOT analysis is an
organized list of our greatest strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and
threats. This SWOT are usually used to list or analyse businesses or an
organisation. Strengths and weaknesses are internal of an individual meanwhile
the Opportunities and threats are external. If the result are not as we wanted,
we can’t change them.
A SWOT analysis is
typically conducted using a four-square
SWOT analysis template, but we can also just make a lists for
each category. Besides, method that is the easiest are better to organize and
understand the results. Brainstorming our self is a best way to list down all
the SWOT analysis. Point form are better.
What shall we ask our self
to make SWOT analysis?
Strengths (internal, positive factors)
Strengths describe the positive attributes, tangible and
intangible. (Internal) They are within our control.
Weaknesses (internal, negative factors)
Weaknesses are aspects of our self that offer or placing us
at a competitive disadvantage. We need to enhance these areas in order to
compete with your best competitor.
Opportunities (external, positive factors)
Opportunities are external attractive factors that represent reasons
for us likely to prosper.
Threats (external, negative factors)
Threats include external factors beyond our control that
could place our strategy, or our self at risk. We
have no control over these, but
may benefit by having contingency plans to address them if it should occur.
Reflection:
What I understand about personal SWOT analysis is, a tool of analysing personal abilities and disabilities of a person and how to fix it by knowing the strength and weakness well. Opportunities and threats are being a point how to use the strength and weakness wisely to penetrate into an industry or to be successful in current industry.
